A rather one-sided contest but a morale-boosting victory.

Felix G set Sherborne on their way with a goal inside two minutes. Thereafter, numerous chances were squandered, and we had to contend with a nasty injury to our skipper Reuben H, but then the floodgates opened and we were 6-0 up at half-time.

We dropped to playing 10 vs 11 which made the match more competitive. Milton Abbey had greater possession and created chances but Tom W in our goal kept them at bay. Once again, the final minutes saw us stretching our advantage, and with the final play Felix G completed his hat-trick and we reached double figures. Eddie S-R also completed a hat-trick so the two will have to fight for the match ball.

On a drizzly afternoon the match was played in excellent spirit. Many thanks to the parents who braved the chilly conditions to come and support.
