An entertaining, competitive match on quite a damp pitch that made close control tricky.

Few chances were created in the first half and those that did come about were evenly shared. Sherborne gained the ascendancy at the beginning of the second half and were rewarded with a goal from Rei K who pounced on a bouncing ball off a corner. Two minutes later, Rei had a golden chance to make it 2-0 when he burst through Dauntsey's high defensive line from half-way, but agonisingly pushed his shot just wide of the post. Dauntsey's capitalised from the reprieve and equalised from a well worked move down the left flank. Few chances were created thereafter, other than Al P's fine volley from just outside the box that conjured an excellent save.

A draw was a fair result, and, though we need to work on the sharpness of our finishing, we move on to the next fixture with our unbeaten record intact!
