A good competitive fixture against a competent side. We played more of what football was on offer, but almost certainly should have gone behind when we switched off and they had a one on one. Ollie C made a most assured, but unsurprising, debut in goal - a definite luxury signing for us at this level. As we sought out a goal to break the deadlock we rather lost our shape. Thankfully, William A kept his head and ensured that we did not end up playing 2 - 0 - 8. Some of our best football originated from left back, where Oz P kept his head up and used the ball wisely. Tom W broke the deadlock stabbing home the rebound after the initial parry of his header. That this came with only 15 minutes to go shows how tight things were. With a couple of minutes to go, Arlo F found the side netting from about 15 yards to put a cherry on the cake.
