This was a great bounce back performance albeit played in bitterly cold conditions. We played at a high tempo from beginning and after a few spurned chances, Harry B put us ahead with a lovely finish into the top of the net from just inside the box. We doubled our head in bizarre fashion after Willoughby P's powerful shot was initially well saved by the BGS 'keeper's legs then spun up and dropped into the net by the goalkeeper. We were playing incisive football and just before half-time got further reward when Fergus OC's bullet of a strike gave the goalkeeper no chance. Willoughby P then scored a cracker from distance. Mortimer M was rewarded for getting into great positions by finishing calmly across the goalkeeper. Willoughby P then showed his full repertoire of skills and twinkling feet by dribbling through the entire BGS defence and slotting past the keeper to complete his hattrick. His fourth goal was the last kick of the game to round off an excellent team performance. Ned T, Harry B and Willoughby P were all contenders for MOTM but on this occasion it goes to Milo T for his reading of the game and for his accurate passing and keeping the ball ticking over whilst in possession.
