Way up at the top of the terraces at Marlborough, Robin C captained the U15C side for their second game of the season, a 3-1 defeat. Falling behind to two early goals on a muddy and uneven pitch, the side began to battle in midfield and gradually clawed their way back into the gamed. Farr B hit a fine low shot, George E fired narrowly wide and Matthew C, having narrowly missed getting on the end of a swirling corner from Arthur H, struck a fine shot, which took a wicked deflection and brought the side back in contention on the stroke of half-time. Try as they might, the second-half equaliser never arrived, and indeed Angus L had to make several fine stops at the other end; after the home team had hit the crossbar and had a goal disallowed, they secured victory with their third goal with the last move of the game.
