A fluid, exciting game from both teams on a pristine pitch beneath the Somerset sun saw the Under-14D side fall to their first defeat of the season. Rocked by a series of team changes before kick-off - and indeed shortly after the start -, the side played really well but gave the ball away too often early and suffered as a result. With no conversions being taken, the team was five tries to one down at half-time, before losing by six tries to four. Adam G, Roy L, Alfie B, Ernie B and captain Anthony P all scored tries, whilst Joseph de C was deservedly Man of the Match for a series of crunching and decisive tackles.
