This was a humdinger of a game played on a cold winter's day in Bristol. Bristol Grammar School had by far the better of the first half, with Sherborne playing too passively and allowing the home team too much space in their half. This eventually led to the opening goal just before half time, as a simple pass into the circle led to the ball being fired underneath the oncoming Arthur M into the Sherborne goal. After half time, Sherborne transformed their game and proceeded to dominate the second half. Excellent pressing from Archie M, Charlie W, and Harry PB created a number of excellent chances that Sherborne couldn't quite convert. The midfield of Carl F, Will T, and Ollie N combined with much greater assuredness to link well and gain a strong foothold in the BGS half. Unfortunately Sherborne couldn't convert their pressure into a score, and BGS sealed the game with a break away goal in the final minutes of the match. The whole squad should be very proud of their performance and the improvement they made over the course of the match.
