Match Report
Sherborne School Boys-U18B vs  Radley College
On: Saturday, 17 Sep 2022
Venue: Away

The 2nd XV travelled to Radley for their second fixture of the season. The bright, sunny conditions made for a game of running rugby and the opening exchanges indicated this would be the case. Sherborne enjoyed the early stages of possession playing some good, multi faze rugby. A solid Radley defence held firm and ultimately managed to turn Sherborne over and score. From this point in the first half the away side were starved of possession but defended admirably. Finally securing solid set piece ball Sherborne were able to cross the line through Tom T. Oli G converted. In the second half Radley continued to play a powerful forward game and then looked to move the ball with momentum. Sherborne defended well but were constantly under pressure. The final score was 14-35 after Max D crossed and Oli G converted. A valiant effort from all on the pitch. A great effort from the away team but much to work on.
