Match Report
Sherborne School Boys-U14C vs  Clifton College
On: Saturday, 09 Nov 2019
Venue: at Home

Sherborne School Mini-Colts C team ran out against an under-strength and weaker Clifton College side. From the first whistle, Sherborne were able to put their foot on the game and dominate the pace and aggression of play. Whilst Clifton were able to pressure the breakdown, Sherborne competently handled any physicality sent their way and returned in kind with quick offloading and reliable forward play. By the end of the first half, Sherborne had put 22 unanswered points on the board, and this only continued in the second half. The Sherborne players had opportunity to trial new positions, and both the pack and back line rotated in order to test their skillsets. The boys responded very well to this new challenge, and responded by increasing the scoreline to 56-0 at the close of play. A slightly disappointing game in terms of competitiveness, but one in which the Sherborne players maintained the high standards that they have been working towards all term. A good outing, and one that left both parents and coaches very encouraged.
