Match Report
Sherborne School Boys-U14E vs  Radley College
On: Saturday, 14 Sep 2019
Venue: at Home

Under a warm Carey's sun, the Mini Colts E side opened their school careers with a hugely encouraging performance against a strong and well-organised Radley side. Don't pay too much attention to the scoreline, which was misleading. Yes, Radley were the better side (seventeen points ahead by half-time) and deserved to win, but possession was much more equal than the score suggests and this team looks to have tries in them. Today was dominated by tough tackling, the gritty, nerveless strength of Theodore Jouhanneaud and the no-nonesense approach of George Gillespie coming to the fore. Jim Harrison captained the side with aplomb from scrum-half and Oscar Revell looks to have pace and skill at centre. Ka Nok Wan had not played at hooker before, but performed well, whilst Dukeui Hong was a useful ally in the second-row. This is a team with promise and I look forward to seeing how this season progresses.
