Match Report
Sherborne School Boys-U14A vs  Radley College
On: Saturday, 14 Sep 2019
Venue: at Home

The Mini Colts A took on Radley in the first big block of the season. Hot, dry conditions on Saturday afternoon meant there would be lots of running rugby but it would be taxing on the boys. Sherborne got off to a good start, defending well as a unit, filling the field in defence. Unfortunately a couple of missed tackles allowed Radley to get a roll on and score a couple of quick tries. A well taken interception try brought the Mini Colts back into the game as half time approached. Into the second half Radley came out of the blocks much quicker. Their aggressive, technically superior work at the breakdown gave them quick ball, which they capitalised on scoring another brace of tries. Towards the end of the match the Sherborne boys started to play a little harder and attacked breakdowns harder. This culminated in a well worked score that was fully deserved.

Much to work on, but an excellent yard stick for the boys to gauge where improvements can be made.
